 Looking forward to the event.

Todd Jardee told me this past Sunday that the club has struck a deal with the driving range owner. He's going to plant, manage and maintain putting green quality turf 250' x the width of the runway at the west end and 150' x the width of the runway on the east end, as well as the apex of the two runways. IIRC the width of the main runway is 75'.

Effectively that will give us better than 700' of runway, with the all weather 300' asphalt part in the middle.

 Tell you what SuperDave,

If you'll join us for the Halloween Fly-In, as a gesture of good will I'll pay your landing fee. But you'll have to fight Jake for the half price burgers on your own. Grin

(good will, it's more than just a place to get shoes.)

The fly-in event officially starts around 9am and ends around 3pm although some people will stay and fly until dark.  Anytime before 3pm is usually a good time to be there.
